"Words can not express the sorrow and sympathy we at KZFR feel for our listeners and their families who survived the Camp Fire. At this point, we rely on the strength of each other, our love for each other and our sense of community. We need each other, we love each other and we are strong. We're Paradise strong, we're Magalia strong, we're Concow strong, WE ARE BUTTE STRONG.

KZFR's mission is to keep you informed by bringing you a world of music and ideas every day. Our goal is to keep you up to date and aware of issues in our region, nation and the world.

Thank you to the first responders, thank you to the folks taking care of the evacuee centers, thank you to all the volunteers making it happen and trying to take care of each other. It's our community and we are stronger together because of who we are and what we do in this time of crisis.

Strange as our situation here on earth is, each of us comes here for a short visit, not knowing why yet sometimes seeming to a divine purpose. From the standpoint of daily life, however there is one thing we do know, that we are here for the sake of others. For the countless unknown souls with who we are connected to by a bond of sympathy and love.

Thank you to everyone who has helped out and responded to the Camp Fire survivors. We appreciate your love and dedication. We will get by. We will survive." ~ Rick Anderson, KZFR General Manger November 2018
